Online Counselling, also known as e-counselling, online counselling, or online therapy is offered through the Internet.

I offer secure video teleconferencing and phone support, meaning you can access counselling from any location and in the comfort of your own home.

You can reach out to me with any questions, as your counsellor, my foremost priority is to be a compassionate listener and assist you in making the decisions that are most beneficial for you and your well-being.

Effective counselling includes other perspectives and new ways of seeing things, and at times counselling will challenge you and help you discover new insights and a sense of purpose.

HOW EFFECTIVE IS ONLINE COUNSELLING?

Research consistently shows that Online Counselling can be very effective for many counselling and mental health issues. This can include Grief, Anxiety, Stress, Relationship issues and much more.

Some clients find it easier to connect with online counsellors and feel more comfortable sharing their thoughts, leading to a deeper level of openness.

THE ETHICS OF ONLINE COUNSELLING

When it comes to Online Counselling, maintaining confidentiality, obtaining informed consent, and preventing data leakage are some of the ethical concerns that need to be addressed. I have made sure to take the necessary steps to safeguard your information and protect your privacy.

I use the telehealth software provided by Halaxy and Coviu, which allows me to have secure and high-quality audio and video connections on any device. All you need is an internet connection and a computer, tablet or smartphone to connect with me.

All video calls are secured with end-to-end encryption and meet the highest privacy and security standards. Your consultations are kept confidential between you and me, so that your privacy is always protected. Additionally, Halaxy and Coviu’s secure system ensure that your records are always kept safe and secure

Feeling a bit nervous about counselling? Don’t worry, it’s completely normal. Meeting someone new and not knowing what to expect can be daunting. It’s my aim to make you feel comfortable right from the start. No matter what’s on your mind, big or small, I get it – it’s important to you. My aim is to build a trusting, caring relationship in a safe space where you can freely share your story and emotions.

Appointments are conducted online via video call or telephone. After booking, you’ll receive an email with your appointment time and instructions on how to join your session. I may also ring you on your mobile if you are not able to connect with me online.

No, it’s not necessary to attend counselling sessions.

$105.00 for a standard one-hour online session.

$75.00 for a 45-minute teen online session.

$145.00 for a standard one-hour in-home session *Sunshine Coast, location pending.

$145.00 for standard one-hour walk and talk session *Sunshine Coast, location pending.

Please note that these services are currently not rebated by Medicare.

Benefits include – no need for a mental health care plan, no diagnosis recorded on your permanent health record, increased flexibility of therapeutic modalities, finding what works for you, fees charged are almost in line with the typical gap fees, no wait lists, and appointments are available now.

Appointments can be made 24/7 online via my booking page.

Payments are required before your session, I will email you an invoice. If you’d like to check if we’re a good fit first, email me for a free 15-minute Discovery Call.

You can change or cancel your appointment up to 24 hours before your appointment time. A full refund will be provided for appointments cancelled with 24 hours or more notice. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, a 50% refund will be provided. There are no refunds if you do not attend your session.
